How to Use Analog and Digital Multimeter

To obtain accurate measurements and correctly follow the use of the following ways.

a. How to Use Analog Multimeters

To start each measurement, the needle should indicate zero when both penjoloknya connected. Rotate the tuning mechanics if the needle has not exactly at zero (0).
Rotate the selector switch to the magnitude to be measured, for example, to the DC mA when will measure DC current, the direction of AC V to measure AC voltage, and the direction of DC V to measure DC voltage.
To measure the resistance (resistor), selector switch and is directed to the ohm scale previously nolkan by combining positive and negative probes. If not indicate zero Ohm matched by rotating ADJ.
Connect the red penjolok to jolok penjolok positive and negative color hidam to jolok.
To measure the amount of DC, not to reverse the positive and negative poles because it can lead to faulty measuring devices.

b. How to Use Digital Multimeter

How to use it the same analog multimeter, just simpler and more accurate results in the appointment of its size because it uses a 4-digit display that is easy to read and use.

Turn the selector switch to the position of the scale that we need after measuring instrument is ready for use.
Connect the probe to measure the components that you once connected with a gauge.
Record numbers listed on the digital multimeter.
Connecting the probe is no longer a principle even if the probe is installed upside down because the display can tell.
